Jake Priester, RB, Charlotte Catholic: Elijah Hood (202 yards, three touchdowns) is the obvious pick for Catholic, but 5-foot-8, 150-pound sophomore Priester had two long touchdown runs (56 yards and 35 yards) against Providence High Friday. He also had a long TD run against South Meck the first game of the year.

Andre Rice, QB, Rocky River: The Ravens have won their first two games of the season and haven't allowed a score yet. Rice was impressive offensively, passing for 156 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for two more TDs in Rocky River's 62-0 win over Harding.

Denzel Pearson, RB, Charlotte Latin: Rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns and scored two receiving touchdowns in a 35-13 victory over North Cross (Va.).
