South Park football team to play in Sir Purr Bowl

The South Park Falcons Pee Wee Pop Warner football team (ages 10-12) beat the Lewisville Titans 14-8 Sept. 15 at Memorial Stadium to earn a spot in the Sir Purr Bowl, to be played at halftime of the Carolina Panthers' game against the Dallas Cowboys Oct. 21.

Quarterback Britt Fuller rushed for both of the Falcons' touchdowns in the game.

The Falcons will face the Coastal Cowboys from Wilmington in the Sir Purr Bowl.
