Ballantyne Smokies make Washington Post blog

The Ballantyne Smokies, a summer college baseball team that plays at Ardrey Kell High, made it on the Washington Post's website earlier this week.

Washington Nationals infielder Chad Tracy was the subject of the Sept. 6 installment of "Last Thing," a regular feature on the Post's D.C. Sports Bog. He's one of the owners of the Smokies and mentioned the team's website when asked the last website he visited.

The blog did a follow-up about Chad Tracy and the team Tuesday.

"We just took control over the team and made it a better atmosphere for these guys to play baseball in," Tracy told the blog.

The Smokies won the SCBL World Series in July.
