Providence Day (4-1) at Porter Ridge (4-0): I love Providence Day's non conference schedule this year. The Chargers' only loss is to 3A power South Point, they beat a good Liberty Christian (Va.) team last week and have another test in undefeated Porter Ridge tonight. My pick: Providence Day.

Independence (4-1) at Ardrey Kell (4-0): Hands down the best public school game in south Charlotte so far this year. Ardrey Kell looked very strong in its game against South Meck last week. Independence has looked good at times this year, but also had a bad showing against Vance earlier this year. My pick: Ardrey Kell.
