Providence Day golfer commits to Purdue

Providence Day senior boys' golfer Christian Cichan verbally committed to play golf in college at Purdue University.

Cichan is ranked as the No. 10 boys' golfer in the state by the American Junior Golf Association with a stroke average of 73.67.

He also helped the Providence Day boys' golf team to a state championship in 2011 and a fourth place finish in the state tournament in 2012.
