Myers Park athletics director Rick Lewis said the Mustangs will move Saturday's game with North Mecklenburg back to Myers Park's campus.
The game had been scheduled for Memorial Stadium.
Myers Park, West Mecklenburg and West Charlotte were forced to move some home games this year after an on-site analysis showed the schools' stadiums needed repairs to old wooden bleachers. Crews tore out large sections of bleachers at each school, vastly reducing seating capacity.
West Charlotte and West Meck moved games to Waddell; Myers Park to Memorial Stadium.
On Tuesday, West Charlotte athletics director Gerald Herbert told the Observer the remainder of his school's home games would be on campus. West Mecklenburg's John Yewcic said the remainder of the Hawks' home games would be at Waddell.
Myers Park, for now, is simply moving the North Meck game. The remainder are still scheduled for Memorial Stadium.
"When we did this," said Mecklenburg County director of athletics Sue Doran, "we said we'd take a couple weeks of the season and talk to the ADs of the schools involved, and if they felt the games would be OK at the school site, we would consider moving them back there. We had those conversations late (Tuesday) and today and determined (Myers Park-North Meck) could be played on the Myers Park campus."
Here is the revised schedule:
Friday, Sept. 14: Harding vs. West Mecklenburg at Waddell; Butler vs. Myers Park at Memorial Stadium
Friday, Sept. 21: Charlotte Catholic vs. West Mecklenburg at Waddell
Friday, Sept. 28: Ardrey Kell vs. Myers Park at Memorial Stadium
Friday, Oct. 5: Olympic vs. West Mecklenburg at Waddell
Friday, Oct. 12: South Mecklenburg vs. Myers Park at Memorial Stadium
Friday, Oct. 19: Ashbrook vs. West Mecklenburg at Waddell
